At the 34th General Assembly of the International Private Committees for the Safeguarding of Venice, held on Friday 27 March 2026, the Venice International Foundation officially joined the Association as its 27th member, thereby reinforcing its commitment to supporting the protection and enhancement of the city. President Katia Da Ros expressed her gratitude to President Paola Marini, the Board and the Assembly of the International Private Committees for the warm welcome extended to the Foundation, emphasising that networking is an essential element in strengthening the impact, value and continuity of activities dedicated to Venice. The Venice International Foundation’s entry into the Association forms part of a particularly significant context of international collaboration, based on the sharing of objectives, expertise and projects in support of a heritage that is unique in the world. This is an important step that confirms the Foundation’s desire to contribute ever more actively to the city’s support, through dialogue and cooperation with organisations that, at an international level, work towards its preservation.
